A Note About Cichlid Color
- Females are typically very muted in color, and appear grey with minimal colors
- Males typically look like females until they begin to mature. At this point they will start to show their adult colors, and it will intensify as they grow.
- If you are looking for an immediate pop of color, we recommend getting the largest cichlid appropriate for your tank.
